Summary

We are looking for a Level 2 Qualified Nursery Assistant to join our lovely nursery. Kinderworld is 'Hygge in the Early Years' Accredited, and our philosophy is to focus on happiness, wellbeing and nature - promoting self care for both our staff and children at the nursery.
Shifts are between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday (you can choose to work 2 to 5 days per week) 20- 44 hours per week.
The ideal candidate must hold the minimum of a full and relevant level 2 childcare qualification and have experience with children under 4 years old.

The position involves working with all ages in the nursery.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn key person duties and role, whilst assisting the supervisor and other team members in implementing fun stimulating activities for the children and carrying out general nursery duties.
The successful candidate will require the ability to work with parents and families to encourage their involvement, as well as the ability to write clear summaries of child progress and the ability to work as a key worker for a small group of children and parents.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity for continuous professional development with the support of experienced and highly qualified team members. You will be paid for any additional training hours and you will be provided with a uniform.
Ideally the applicant will train for their level 3 childcare qualification whilst in this position.
