Summary
TeacherActive are looking for SEN TA / SEN Teaching Assistant in SHEFFIELD to have the opportunity to work in a specialist PRIMARY school that caters for young people who have Autism, Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs. The curriculum is tailored in a way that supports each individual child so that they all have the best opportunity for successful learning.
The ideal SEN TA / SEN Teaching Assistant should have the following:
• Level 2/ 3 in a relevant qualification and/or experience in a care, support work or school environment
• Good communication skills
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
