We are currently seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to join our team as a Material Handler. The Material Handler will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient receipt, organisation, and distribution of materials within our client's facility.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments of materials and goods.
- Inspect and verify received items for accuracy and quality.
- Accurately log received items into the internal database.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all received materials.
- Prepare materials for distribution by picking and packing items as per company standards.
- Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transportation.
- Maintain organised records on the flow of materials within the facility.
- Update records regularly to reflect real-time inventory status.
- Monitor the flow of materials and parts between different departments.
- Collaborate with various teams to optimise material flow processes.
- Identify and expedite materials to address any shortage issues.
- Work closely with procurement and production teams to resolve shortages promptly.
- Assist in the pre-assembly of materials to support the production process.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure a seamless work flow.
- Undertake other tasks as required from time to time to support operational needs.
