Summary


The General Manager post holder serves as a proficient operational leader for Soft FM Services, overseeing budget, compliance, and service enhancements in a 24/7 environment. They will be required to collaborate closely with client teams at the Royal London Hospital and across the broader Barts Trust, providing leadership in Catering, Domestic Cleaning, Portering, Security, Waste, Linen, Laundry, and other Soft FM areas. Responsible for day-to-day management, statutory compliance, and identifying improvement opportunities, they report to the Operations and Performance Director. The post holder manages contractual responsibilities, fosters customer relationships, and leads the team, contributing to the strategic planning of Soft FM services within the Barts Trust.

The post holder is accountable for the day-to-day management and delivery of Soft FM Services at the Royal London Hospital site.
