We are a dynamic and ever-changing organisation with new services and teams regularly coming on board. As such we are seeking to recruit 6 dedicated Support Workers to join our Low Level Support Service team working at Citizens Advice Mid Mercia (2 North East Derbyshire / 2 Chesterfield / 2 Bolsover) with the primary aim of providing short-term, targeted support (not personal care) to individuals, focusing on maintaining their independence in their own homes.

We are looking for individuals who:
• Have excellent communication skills
• Can manage own time effectively with a keen eye for detail
• Can monitor and maintain own standards ensuring work is accurate
• Have worked in a public-facing role
• Are experienced in working with a diverse range of people and providing a welcoming environment for clients
• Are in possession of a full driving licence and use of a car, or otherwise able to fulfil the travel requirements necessary

Full training and support will be given to the successful candidate to enable them to carry out their role

Responsibilities / Key Tasks:
• Interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities
• To maintain confidentiality, use discretion and sound judgement in undertaking all areas of responsibilities
