Summary

An exciting opportunity for a Deputy Security Manager who will be responsible for supporting the Management Team in delivering the smooth and efficient running of the Security Service. The site is located in Ealing, full to the brim with shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops
Information:

Position: Deputy Security Manager
Location: Ealing
Pay Rate: £15.62 per hour
Hours: 45 hours per week
Shifts: 5 On 2 Off (One weekend shift every 3 weeks, this will form part of the 5 shifts)

Job Requirements:

SIA Licence required
Experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor/Lead Officer is required
Excellent communication both written & verbal
Excellent levels of customer service at all times
Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
To have a smart appearance befitting the company
Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
Able to work as part of a team as well as on your own

Job Role:

To be responsible for the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site at all times as required by the Client Representative(s).
To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site at all times and report any breach of these immediately to the Duty Manager or the Contract Manager.
To ensure that discipline is maintained on shift at all times including the wearing of full uniform and punctuality of officers.
To ensure the Handover is checked at the beginning of the shift to ensure all vital details are carried out before their time.
To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times when dealing with staff, students, and visitors to the site.
Proactively monitor and maintain staff discipline, standards, and conduct.
To keep a proactive outlook and regular patrol all aspects of the site/s
Oversee that the contract’s officers are all performing to the required standards and take appropriate actions to remedy any shortfalls.
Monitor patrols are being adequately completed and to the expected frequency.
Liaise regularly with CIS Managers and senior Supervisors ensuring that they are kept updated on all important aspects.
Regularly audit site equipment & ensure that site paperwork is correctly maintained.
Ensure correct deployment of staff.
Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.
To be able to work as part of a team
Build a relationship with our main Control Room in order to both understand each other’s requirements

Additional responsibilities:

Linking in with Local Authorities.
Developing strong working relationships with all emergency services.
Lead, manage and motivate the team.
Assist with Officers and CCTV Operators annual leave requests
Oversee Roster and scheduling responsibilities in alignment with rostering process and procedures.
Brief the team daily on the day taskings/events/planned incidents/new processes or procedures etc.
Always make a positive personal impact and be seen at the forefront of good practice.
Perform or assist with all reasonable client / company requests.
Be an exemplar for Team Working - shift team and site leadership team
