Summary


We have an exciting opportunity to join the phlebotomy service within Surgery. The team provides high quality care to inpatients requiring venesection and cannulation. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual, who can demonstrate excellent communication and time-management skills. Training will be provided.

Must be able to communicate in a compassionate and effective manner.

The successful applicant will need to be flexible with their shift pattern, covering Long days, nights and short shifts.

Must be able to travel to UHS.

Must be punctual and able to manage time independently.

Health and physical abilities sufficient for the post.

Must have reasonable IT skills (training can be provided on our systems).

Previous healthcare experience preferred, although not essential.
