The University of Glasgow has been changing the world for more than 572 years. Today, we are one of the world's top 100 universities and ranked 13th in the world in the Times Higher Education (THE) World Impact Rankings 2023, demonstrating that we are not only one of the best universities in the United Kingdom, but one of the best universities for the world. Our people have always been at the forefront of innovation, and our past achievements inspire our current world changers.

This role is based in the College of Social Sciences and will initially be focused on providing timetabling support for the Adam Smith Business School. The focus of the role may change in future depending on the business needs of the School and College at that time. Please note that you may be required to work in a broadly similar role in a different area of the School or College, which helps to develop and distribute good practice across schools, as well as providing flexibility for the College. There will be no change to either the grade of the role or the broad skill and experience requirements.

In this role, the successful candidate will manage timetabling across the Adam Smith Business School, including teaching, research, and ad-hoc bookings. You will act as the first point of contact for all timetabling queries and coordinate activities for the School in conjunction the University Central Timetabling Team (CTT).

Furthermore, the postholder will work in partnership with academics and professional services, support the delivery of the school’s strategic objectives, and aligned with the University’s Change programme adopt a data-driven approach to evaluate and improve processes to enhance the experience for both students and staff.

This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is offered on an open ended (permanent) basis. Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
