Summary

We are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated full time person to join our management team

This position requires previous experience in managing the day-to-day running of a Nursery. We recognise you will have a minimum level 3 childcare qualification and at least one years leadership experience within an early year setting. You will have an in depth knowledge of the EYFS framework.
We understand the position's demands and the responsibilities it entails. Which is why we are looking for someone who can work well in the busy nursery environment.
This position is working Monday to Friday, our opening hours are 8am till 6pm working 40hrs per week all year round. Deputy Manager salary £12.60 per hour, dependent upon age, experience and qualifications.
• A Childcare and Education qualification to NVQ level 3 or above
• New guidance from Ofsted candidates must have a maths qualification of C and above or equiva-lent.
• A current First Aid qualification
• To have a good understanding of safeguarding children
• A willingness to step up and take responsibility in the absence of the manager.
• To lead and role-model high quality practice in the setting, monitoring, and supporting the EY team on a daily basis.
• To be active in ensuring every child receives stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs and interests and enables them to reach their very best outcomes.
• To enjoy working as part of a small team, being flexible, hardworking, caring and helping to ensure our children and their families continue to feel supported during their time at our setting.
• A sound knowledge of childcare development from birth to five years
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a supervisory role in the delivery of services to young children
Key Responsibilities
• To liaise and work alongside the Managers.
• We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Deputy Nursery Manager whose primary goal is to deliver the highest standards of childcare and early years education.
• You will be resourceful, commercially minded, have strong leadership ability and excellent communication skills.
• You will have strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.
• •Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
• •Develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with relevant Local Authority de-partments, regulatory bodies and other agencies.
• •Manage the occupancy to ensure it shows growth and meets the business aims.
