We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our brilliant Supply Team!

Based at our site in Crewe, you will form part of an integral team who not only support each other but also undertake
administration duties in the supply chain area.

Location: Crewe

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 9:15am - 6pm & Friday: 9:30am - 4pm

Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 per annum



Why Supply Chain at The Compleat Food Group?

To assist and undertake administration duties in the Supply chain area which will ensure the efficient running of Logistics,
Warehouse and Van sales activities.



Your Duties Will Include:

* Coordinating the booking in of customer deliveries in line with scheduled transport routes.
* Ensuring vehicle manifests and load sheets are completed in line with scheduled vehicle movements and deliveries.
* Coordination and overseeing of Inbound delivery slots mainly, materials, packaging, frozen materials and frozen finished goods.
* Controlling and completing all pallet control movements via recognised systems to allow for clean and accurate supplier
invoicing.
* Entering any Telesales orders onto system in a timely manner.
* Running daily process of despatching and creating invoices, and creating associated reports for Operations and Van sales
colleagues.
* Addressing any incoming calls related to area of work in a courteous and polite manner always maintaining a professional
attitude.
* Coordinating new customer accounts and any other relevant information within the Wholesale element of the business and passing
on to the wholesale delivery drivers.
* Keeping accurate filing of all paperwork for audit purposes.
* Reporting any discrepancies to the logistics coordinator.
* Ad hoc duties as designated by the logistics coordinator.



Health, Safety & Environment Responsibilities:

* Know Health & Safety responsibilities, the site rules, and bring to the attention to issues that could affect own, or others
Health, Safety & Welfare.
* Work in a safe manner at all times.
* Fully comply with all signage, notices, warning labels etc.
* Bring to the attention of your manager any hazards or unsafe conditions that may lead to injury, ill health, or damage.
* Participate fully in all Health, Safety & Environmental training sessions, and Safety Briefings / Toolbox Talks.
* Not misuse of interfere with anything provided to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
* Ensure a good standard of housekeeping is maintained within the working environment to minimise the risk of injury to
themselves or others.
* Correctly use and store the protective clothing and equipment provided.
* Report all injuries, near misses, and instances of ill health that occur to them at work and obtain the necessary First Aid
Treatment.
* Help in the investigation of accidents in order to prevent recurrence.
* Set a good example of safe behaviour, particularly to new starters and young persons.



Food Safety & Quality Responsibilities:

* Works to required food safety & quality standards.
* Observes the site personal hygiene requirements.
* Ensure that correct procedures are being followed, paperwork is being filled out correctly and the quality of product is good.
* Ensuring working area is clean and tidy.
* Encourage good practice and challenge poor practice relating to CAYG (Clean as you go) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).



Your Skills and Experience:

* Warehouse experience is an advantage.
* Administration experience is essential.
* Good level of computer literacy.
* Telephone call handling experience.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a team and on your own.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
