Summary
Job title: Personal Assistant
Hours of work: Flexible – Monday to Sunday 7-9am and 5-7pm. More hours are available for the first 2 months.
Hourly rate:
Employed £12.00 per hour
Self employed £14.72 per hour
A personal assistant is required in the Hayle area to assist a lady in Cornwall who loves raising her children, seeks a kind and empathetic personal assistant to support her at home. Lady has a diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome - joint hypermobility/joint pain, migraines and has reduced mobility.

Applicant status required: Employed or Self-employed
Main duties:
- Support with personal care
- Preparing meals
- General housework, including cleaning and laundry
- Creating a safe place for the children
- Tidy and maintain the family home
- Support with bedtime routine for children
Essential requirements:
• A proactive and caring approach, willing to adapt to the needs of the person you are supporting.
• Experience working or spending time with younger children.
• Reliability as this is a long-term position
Candidates must possess good communication skills, have a positive attitude and be prepared to work flexibly. Also, must like cats.
You will be required to have a DBS check (previously CRB), which would be arranged at the employers expense.
Confirmation of the position is dependent on suitable references, and a clear DBS check.
If the role is on a self-employed basis, please ensure you have proof of employment status and public liability insurance.
Desirable:
• Previous support role experience
• Non-smoker preferable
