Summary
Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a Secondary School in Halifax to recruit dedicated English Teacher. This is a full time English Teacher placement and will be from ASAP until December 2024, in the first instance, with a potential of a perm offer for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
Teaching certification or qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level is preferred.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
