Summary

We have an exciting prospect for an experienced and dynamic Senior Leisure Assistant to join our Country Club team. This is a key role within the department focusing on co-ordinating guest/member requests within the Leisure Club thus ensuring all customers receive a high standard of customer care and service; and leading the Leisure Club team on a daily basis, assisting in their training and development in order to maintain the maximum quality standards required to ensure optimum guest satisfaction.

  • Experience of a senior/leadership/supervisory role within a team in the leisure industry
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide a welcoming atmosphere for all our guests and members.
  • Lead the team of Leisure Club Assistants on a daily basis with guidance from the Country Club Manager
  • Ensure that all pool and Leisure Club furniture is kept clean and tidy.
  • Perform fitness assessments as required (once trained) to Company procedures.
  • To offer a Fitness Programme for all new members, highlighting correct use of equipment and continue to monitor.
  • To act as a Sales Person, promoting the image of the Hotel at all times.
  • To maintain a smart and tidy appearance at all times and to comply with uniform requirements.
  • Report and hand over any lost property.
  • Assist in the training and development of the Country Club team.
  • Managing the team in the absence of the Country Club Manager
