About the employer

The employer is gentleman living with his family in their home in Wellingborough. He is seeking a PA to support him with his everyday living tasks and to encourage him to access the community.

Main Duties
• To assist the employer select appropriate clothing for his day.
• To assist/motivate the employer in the preparation of cooked meals. This may be a co-operative venture depending on how the employer’s conditions are affecting him on that particular day.
• Personal care may be required.
• To accompany the employer on social outings in the local area and further afield (to out of town shopping centres etc.).
• To provide encouragement in relation to taking gentle exercise, i.e walks in the fresh air etc.
• Helping the employer to plan his week and to provide motivation.
• Any other task which the employer may reasonably ask you to do which falls within the scope of the job as a Personal Assistant.

Additional employment information
The successful applicant will be friendly, able to give empathetic support, while respecting the employer’s independence but also able to take instruction.

Must be flexible, trustworthy and active with a good sense of humour.

An enhanced DBS check will be carried out prior to commencement of duties.
