Summary
Longleat is seeking an experienced and organisational Events Coordinator to join our team and help us continue our tradition of hiring engaged and productive employees.
Our events team is responsible for supporting the delivery of all events year-round at Longleat. From immersive lantern displays and enchanting Christmas tree shows during The Festival of Light to our dazzling icons of the sky hot air balloon event.
Reporting directly to the Events Manager, your role will be integral to ensuring the seamless planning and execution of corporate and commercial events at Longleat, including our flagship calendar projects.
Key duties will include:
Plan and deliver corporate, fun day and commercial events, and key calendar projects and events
Support with the development of future events
Composition and management of Health and Safety documentation of events and projects, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Coordination of project schedule, resources and equipment to ensure the project is delivered on time and safely
Day-to-day management of status reporting and delivery, with effective communication to the Project Owner
Contractor, supplier and entertainer welfare coordination at all phases of projects and events, including accommodation and catering supplies
Evaluation of project and event success against its objectives and sharing lessons or best practice with the programme board
About you
Your previous experience in project and events will ensure you deliver and execute the role seamlessly
You will have a full UK driving licence to enable you to get around our expansive estate
You are used to working under pressure, whilst maintaining excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
You are fully flexible with your working hours and have the understanding that your hours will flex in accordance with event demand and event delivery hours

Your contract
You’ll be employed on a permanent 40-hours a week contract, working 5 days out of 7, including weekends, evenings, early mornings and bank holidays as required. Start and finish times will vary in accordance with park opening times.
