Our Events Team develops and manages a year-round calendar of engaging and immersive events, from our spectacular winter display, The Festival of Light, to filling the sky with awe-inspiring hot air balloons.
What will this role entail?
With the support of your manager you will be responsible for delivering a unique programme of events, which link to the USP of the brand, and long-term masterplan strategy of Longleat. Deliver new and exciting guest experiences that create a compelling reason for guests to visit, stay longer and revisit.
Key duties will include:

Design, resource, build and deliver a unique programme of events
Operationally manage new and existing events and products acting as the lead contact for all Corporate, Private and In-Park Special Events ensuring engagement and sign off from all departments.
Project lead for internal and external suppliers to new products and existing events.Own, plan, manage, organize, control and communicate all commercial projects (as defined by the leadership team), to achieve specific goals and deadlines.
To act as the project lead for all events, defined by the leadership team, in line with brand and business strategy.
Ensure that all projects are managed in line with budget and proactively seek operational efficiency.
To work with external parties to negotiate contracts, commercial terms of delivery and to ensure all third parties are compliant with the agreed terms and conditions.

What will I need to be considered for this vacancy?
• Graduate or equivalent.• More than three years’ commercial experience in managing and delivering events ( ideally in leisure sector).• Be able to demonstrate a high level of planning, prioritising and control, and ability to establish a systematic course of action to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently.• Appreciates the need to monitor and control outputs.• Excellent planning and organisational skills and able to prioritise to meet deadlines and cope with fluctuations in workload.• Strong sense of customer service and demonstrates an understanding of the needs of customers, keeping them in mind when taking actions or making decisions.• Proven track record in delivering profitable events.
What will I receive in return?

You’ll be employed on a permanent 40-hour contract, working 5 days out of 7, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required. Start and finish times vary in accordance with our opening times.
