Summary
As an IT Specialist at MSR Solicitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and providing technical support to our employees. You will be responsible for installing and configuring computer hardware and software, diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues, and maintaining system performance. Additionally, you will handle user queries, analyse call logs, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our IT Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing and Configuring Computer Systems:
Set up and configure computer hardware and software components according to company standards.
Ensure all systems are properly installed, configured, and ready for use by employees.
Diagnosing and Solving Hardware/Software Faults:
Provide timely and effective troubleshooting and support for hardware and software issues faced by users.
Address issues such as forgotten passwords, viruses, email problems, etc., and resolve them efficiently.
Windows Server Administration:
Possess knowledge of Windows Server 2016, including adding users/groups in Active Directory or Admin Center, editing attributes, and managing Microsoft-related applications.
Administer Microsoft Admin Center and other relevant tools to maintain system functionality.
Logging Customer/Employee Queries:
Maintain a comprehensive log of user-reported issues and queries.
Analyse call logs to identify trends, recurring issues, and underlying problems, and take appropriate actions to address them.
Maintaining System Performance:
Regularly monitor hardware, software, and system performance metrics to ensure optimal operation.
Install required software updates and patches, and troubleshoot performance issues as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT or a similar field.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to priorities tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
