Summary
Preventative Maintenance Engineer

38.5 hours pw: Mon to Wed 8 am to 4.30 pm, Thurs 8 am to 4 pm, Fri 8 am to 3.30 pm
Our Preventative Maintenance Engineers keep our customers’ Volvo construction equipment running smoothly and efficiently by carrying out essential planned maintenance and servicing.
A field-based role you’ll be working on large mobile plant such as wheeled loaders, articulated haulers, hydraulic excavators, and utility and road equipment, carrying out anything from a 500-hour service on an excavator to a routine check-up on a small digger.
Requirements
Ideally, you’ll hold a minimum of NVQ L2 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance, Land Based Engineering, or similar heavy machinery. Knowledge of Volvo construction machinery is not required as full product training is provided however you will need to have heavy vehicle service, maintenance or repair experience.
You’ll be a problem solver; capable of working independently with strong customer service and communication skills.
The right to work in the UK without the requirement for sponsorship and a full UK driving licence is essential. Company van provided.
