Owen Payne Recruitment are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Steel manufacturing client on a permanent basis located the Smethwick area.
Due to the nature of this role, previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is essential.

Duties of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
• Respond to production breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
• Pro-actively manage independent workload through maintenance smart phone app
• Identify and solve the root-cause problems to provide long-term solutions
• Make customer service your focus, communicate, support and educate
• Record all modifications made to equipment to ensure documentation is accurate at all tines
• Observe and communicate any required improvements on production machinery
• Complete TPM activities on machinery as required
• Carry out basic site maintenance takes to support machinery installations
• Ensure safe working practices are adhered to at all times
Hours of work:
• Continental Night Shift
• 18:00-06:00 (4 on 4 off)
Salary:
• £42,000.00 - £45,000.00 per year (DOE)
