Summary
-Perform general cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, window cleaning and polishing
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, resident bedrooms and other common areas
- Empty bins and dispose of waste properly and in line with health and safety requirements
- Restock supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Follow cleaning procedures and guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Assist with laundry
Skills
- Experience in care home cleaning is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members
