Our client is a small animal practice with an established client base. They are very well-equipped, offering many up-to-date facilities including 4 consult rooms, separate cattery, kennel and isolation wards, a dedicated x-ray and ultrasound room, large theatre and prep room and an in-house laboratory.
You will be joining an experienced and friendly team of Veterinary Professionals who are passionate about top-class veterinary care. Surgery will be on a rotational basis within the team with an interesting mix of soft tissue surgery, imaging and dentistry. Our client also has the tools for basic orthopaedics if this is something of interest.
Both experienced vets and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. There is a lot of support available for recent graduates, including a dedicated induction program where you are assigned with a work buddy/mentor. You will be able to unlock your potential through practical and online CPD courses and development opportunities. Given their varied caseload, they are able to accommodate a veterinary surgeon with either a surgical or medical bias.
Situated in the wonderful city of Derby, the practice is centrally located with great transport links to the rest of the country with trains running from Derby to London, Nottingham, Birmingham, and Leeds to name a few. East Midlands airport is also just 30 minutes away.
Role:
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE
- Up to £5,000 relocation allowance
- Full time role - 40 hour working week
- Flexible rota options
- 1:4 Saturday mornings 9am - 12pm with TOIL
- No OOH
