Summary
We're seeking a resilient, optimistic leader who can support children who have challenging behavioural and emotional needs. The role is for a teaching assistant, but requires you to be an influential role model for the students who struggle to navigate their everyday emotions and require the correct guidance and boundaries. The school is a SEMH provision in the South of Bristol and the children are aged 5 - 16.
- The role begins in April 2024 and is available for part time and full time - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm term time only
- £95-£105 day depending on experience
- On site parking and easy bus routes
The Academy takes a tailored approach supporting the individual pupil in the way that benefits them the most, treating every child as an individual and not a number. They have a think out the box approach and require their staff to be flexible in their style of teaching and support.
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
• Be proactive and creative in their approach to teaching.
• Be confident working with challenging behaviour and emotional needs.
• Look forward to making everyday exciting in the classroom and making a safe space for the students.
