Summary

Your tasks
would typically include:


· Assist
with any enquiries that come through and update the enquiries spreadsheet


· Receive post and distribute as well as log
parcels and accept deliveries


· Able to handle petty cash and fill in
appropriate forms and ensure it is correct


· Complete and update all logs i.e. overnight
guests, loss of keys etc. daily or as necessary


· Ensure that the reception areas are kept clean
and tidy


· Completing move outs/in’s documents/photos and
records


· Periodic checks of key fob logs – investigate
any anomalies / concerns and report as well as administering new key fobs


· Ensure that all spreadsheets are regularly
checked and kept up to date especially the resident details sheet


· Maintain log of broken or damaged appliances
and liaise with management team regarding these


· Ensure you have knowledge of all office
procedures


· Maintaining the important contact list making
sure all details are up to date


· Overlook the CCTV and ensure security is
effective at all times


· Ensure Health & Safety is considered in the day to
day running of the business and accommodation


· Under the guidance of the management team,
conduct timely reviews of the accommodation brochure, accommodation handbooks
and other information guides including the website promoting the accommodation
services and support available


· To ensure that Health & Safety is
considered in the day to day running of the business and accommodation


· Book, order and obtain payment for any extra
services required by the residents such as private cleans, laundry, printing
etc


· Assist with marketing student accommodation,
helping with the social media and by way of publishing a regular student
newsletter


·
Assist the Marketing department with events
for residents


·

Training
STANDARD & LEVEL
The successful candidate will work towards completing the Level 3 Business Administration Standard from the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education. Delivered by Blackpool and The Fylde College offering expert tuition and exceptional facilities.

Off-the-job training
Developing your skills at work is called on-the-job training, 20% of your apprenticeship (equal to one full day a week) will be ‘off-the-job’. This might include attending College, tackling projects, online learning, coaching, shadowing, or training for your job.


Stacks of support
Assessment mostly takes place in the workplace. When you start, you will be allocated a skills coach, who will visit you at least once a month to guide and support you and help you to plan for your future. We will also provide you with specialist support for your English and maths and for any additional needs that you make us aware of.


Qualifications required
Level 3 a minimum of English and maths grades A*- C (9-4) (or equivalent) are desirable OR willingness to complete Functional Skills Level 2 are a requirement to have or to achieve before EPA Gateway.
