Summary
Garden Centre Team Member Outdoor Living
Part Time 27.5 Hours Per Week Including Weekends.
April – August Contract
At British Garden Centres, not only do we aim to deliver a great experience in our Centres, but we go above and beyond in creating an exceptional customer service experience too.
We are looking for an Outdoor Living Team Member to work within our Patio Furniture Department, you will be the heart of our operations and ensuring customers have the best experience in store.
The days you will be required to work are – Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Friday – 10-4pm. This can change due Holiday/Sickness cover.

Skills required:
• The role does involve some heavy lifting and building furniture so you must be physically fit.
• Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
• Work well under pressure.
• Professionalism and reliability.
• Good time management.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to succeed.
Duties will include:
• General Housekeeping
• Customer Service
• Ensuring all customer questions, queries & aftersales queries are responded to in an efficient, professional, and timely manner via email, phone or in person.
• Actively approach all customers to ensure we are building relationships, answering all questions and looking after them through the process from start to finish.
• Ensuring high standards throughout the department at all times
• Ordering Customers furniture though our internal ordering systems
• Arranging deliveries with customers
