We are looking to recruit a Deputy Shift Supervisor to join our friendly team at a prestigious building in Cheltenham to assist the Shift Supervisor in their role in coordinating maintenance activities within the shift team. This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week working various shifts covering 24 hrs. Some overtime may be required from time to time to ensure continuity of cover.



Responsibilities:

Assist with the Supervision of Shift staff and on-site contracts undertaking PPM & reactive works, ensuring they are carried out in accordance with SLA's & KPI’s.
Responsible for running the site and providing key point of contact for personnel.
Deputise for the Shift Supervisor when required.
Assist with the reporting of team performance in terms of PPMs and reactive and corrective works.
Monitor, site operation and utilise BMS, ENMS and FMIS outputs to optimise service delivery.
Respond to defects, faults and client requests, providing excellent customer service, identifying and providing solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
Maintain records and produce regular and ad hoc reports as required.
Undertake auditing, review productivity, drive innovation and quality within service delivery
Address all HR issues from direct reports involving line manager/HR team where appropriate.
Undertake Development reviews with the team.
Assist with the supervision of the shift team on a rota basis covering 2 day Shifts 2 night shifts and 4 rest days.
Responsible for safe and efficient performance of Hard FM delivery out of hours.
Develop and maintain day to day contact with client representatives.
Identify training and development to satisfy corporate objectives and define succession plans.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Essential Criteria:

Trained as a mechanical or electrical technician.
Have significant experience of working in a complex FM environment.
Good leadership skills and experience.


Desirable Criteria:

IOSH Managing safely.
SMSTS/ SSSTS.
IWFM Lv 3.
AP in their trained discipline with experience of isolation procedures.
