Summary

We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to join our team and provide a high-quality cleaning service.

This is a full-time role based at FCO, Cheltenham GL51 0EX, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 6pm - 2am Previous professional cleaning experience would be a benefit but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for helping to manage the G4S Cleaning Team and the services they provide. To provide a professional, comprehensive Facilities Management service, whilst assisting with the delivery of this prestigious contract.

This role requires an individual who is hardworking, tenacious and who wants to deliver the best quality service, whilst ensuring that the customer satisfaction is maintained at all times. You will need to be efficient and comfortable with managing and developing a team. Whilst being able to multitask, work under pressure and prioritise your workload to provide a safe and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
To assist the Cleaning Manager in leading and developing a skilled team to meet operational and business needs.
Monitor delivery of services against SLA’s and SLT’s. Ensuring that performance data is recorded and available for inspection by auditors, client, authority etc.
To schedule work to meet fluctuations in staffing levels and customer requests.
Keep management informed by identifying trends
Respond to customer enquiries and complaints
Assist with the preparation and submission of Security Management Plans (SMP’s) in support of the department requirements
Liaise with Client, Customers, other areas of G4S and contractors as required
Perform other duties as necessary during times of peak demand or staff absences to contribute to the team effort to accomplish results
Maintain level of staff delivery by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results
Promote staff development and training
To maintain staff records and carry out all administration requirements for all team members
To comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act and emergency procedures as required.
To provide cover for other Team Leaders where appropriate.
