Our client, an ever-growing financial services consultancy, are looking to add a Telephony Team Leader to offer first line support to the business. This client of ours has one of the most generous and competitive benefits packages.

This central operations team offers core support for internal enquires of all natures. You will manage the activities of the central switchboard, resolve queries in a timely manor, while supporting a team of four Telephonists that will look to you to encourage their professional development.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of a Telephony Team Leader?

• Line management for telephonist team, including personal wellbeing, performance management and developing training to support their professional betterment.
• Escalating and resolving issues with key stakeholders.
• Create monthly performance reports, detailing statistics, achievements and challenges of your team.
• Oversight of the email inbox, ensuring all queries get into the right hands while remaining in line with GDPR.

Required Skills and Qualifications for this Telephony Team Leader position?

• Extensive Microsoft Office usage (Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Professional telephone manner is of course essential.
• Ability to be accountable for decision making.
• Track record of managing people, experince within a professional services environment would be highly desirable.
