Manager managing the operation within your area of responsibility.

We’re a fast paced business, always delivering amazing quality and results for our customer. As one of our First Line Managers,
you’ll have responsibility for your team’s performance as well as a keen eye for process improvements and spotting the best ways
of reducing cost whilst delivering world class service and results. You’ll work closely with your shift manager to deliver results
together across your department.




As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

* Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
* Ensure the operation achieves all daily, weekly and monthly targets and KPI's, resulting in high performance levels and the
efficient and effective provision of a quality service to the customer
* Manage a team of direct line reports including delivering team member performance review, development and/or succession
planning as appropriate
* Actively promote, take responsibility for embedding a culture of employee engagement within the team
* Ensure compliance to Warehouse, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and safe systems of work
* Utilise continuous improvement tools and techniques and support team members in their application




About You




We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this
role!

* Experience of managing and leading a team
* Excellent communication skills including effective listening
* Good IT skills with skills in Microsoft Office and / or Google Suites
* A commitment to self-development and team development
* Awareness of health, safety and environmental standards
* Proven experience of delivering excellent customer service
* Flexible and committed to achieving team/site objectives
* We’d love to see some demonstrable experience of working with lean / continuous improvement techniques too if you have that
