Summary

wagamama is seeking a dynamic digital experience manager to join our marketing team leading on proposition development for our digital channels to ensure every guest interaction is seamless, engaging, and on-brand!

in this pivotal role, you will:

  • oversee the development and optimisation of wagamama's digital touchpoints, including websites, app, collection, and pay on phone
  • champion a customer-centric digital approach, ensuring all touchpoints exceed guest expectations and reflect wagamama's unique brand identity
  • leverage data and insights with commercial acumen and a user-centric mindset to drive meaningful improvements across our digital ecosystem
  • develop and implement channel specific roadmaps for future growth, while also demonstrating adaptability to handle immediate operational needs

key responsibilities |

digital experience development

  • lead the development of a comprehensive digital experience strategy aligned with the brand, marketing, and business objectives
  • track, measure and analyse digital channel performance and user behaviour, leveraging data to personalise and evolve our touchpoints
  • create and maintain prioritised roadmaps for future development – to include recommended new features, functionality, and enhancements
  • develop strong business cases to secure investment for future digital experience development
  • partner with the technology team, in the role of product owner, to ensure successful implementation of planned digital changes
  • oversee the launch and integration of new digital propositions, taking a collaborative approach to integrating new initiatives across the business. key partner teams include customer data and digital marketing, strategy and insights, content, brand, finance, technology, people, and operations

digital channel management

  • day to day management of all guest-facing digital touchpoints, ensuring content is fresh, relevant, accurate and up to date

what we look for |

  • relevant experience | in digital brand development, product management, digital loyalty programme management or a related field
  • experience development | a solid understanding of digital experience principles and practices, UX/UI principles, loyalty, and data analytics to inform decision making
  • technical knowledge | experience working with content management systems (jira and GA4 is a plus)
  • collaborative approach | a proven track record of working cross-functionally to implement change, effectively managing tech partners and digital agencies, and fostering collaboration with teams from across the business
  • commercial acumen | commercially savvy and customer-focused
  • excellent communicator | confident in working at all levels to champion change and drive results
  • organised and efficient | execution and detail focused, yet with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and workstreams at any one time.
