Description
We are currently seeking a Housing Needs Reviews Caseworker (L3Z2) to join our team. As a Housing Needs Reviews Caseworker, you will play a critical role in assessing and addressing the housing needs of individuals and families in our community. With a focus on ensuring access to safe and affordable housing, you will conduct thorough reviews, engage in client interactions, and make determinations regarding eligibility for housing support programs. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to working with individuals facing housing challenges.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive reviews of client applications for housing support programs, ensuring all relevant documentation is provided and accurate.
Assess client eligibility for housing support programs based on established criteria and guidelines.
Conduct interviews and engage in client interactions to gather additional information and understand specific housing needs.
Evaluate housing options and make recommendations for suitable accommodations based on client needs and available resources.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including social workers, housing providers, and community organizations, to coordinate housing support efforts.
Maintain accurate records and update databases to track the progress of each case.
Provide guidance and assistance to clients, including information on housing resources, financial assistance programs, and legal rights.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
Previous experience in housing support, social services, or a related field is highly preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions regarding client eligibility and housing options.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency in computer applications and databases for record keeping and case management.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with individuals facing housing challenges.
Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay Per Hour: £20.96
