Summary


We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player to be part of our friendly Therapy Team in Norwich!

As a band 6 Occupational Therapist in the Community you will assess many different physical conditions and presentations, which will widen your knowledge and skill set. We are based at Norwich Community Hospital with flexible working encouraged; coming into the office, travelling to and from home or dropping in to our spoke office in Thorpe St Andrew. You will be provided with a lap top and mobile telephone. You will lone work, knowing there is a staff safety system in place and joint visits where needed with other members of the Therapy team.

Working 30 hours a week, the service covers 9-5 and you will work a set pattern. (Ideally including Mondays and Fridays.)

We offer whole team meetings, plus one to one supervision and peer supervision for support, learning and reflection.

There may be need for the band 6 Occupational Therapist to cover the triage service and Alder ward on occasion.

The band 6 Occupational Therapist predominantly assesses patients in their own homes which includes care homes and housing with care. You will have had, or are working towards having a junior member of staff to supervise and support, and will have had/looking to have Occupational Therapy students to support on their placements.
