Summary
Job Overview
-To ensure that that we maximise the commercial opportunities and minimise commercial risks associated with our Germany & Wider Europe (GWE) account, whilst ensuring compliance with our obligations.
The role will be working to the Commercial Manager Addiitonal Services with key focus areas being the management of Additional Services pricing, negotiation and adherence to Contract Terms & Conditions. This offers the opportunity to work in both Germany and Italy pricing a significant number of low value M&E and B&CE small works projects as well as the potential to work on larger more complex projects should the client request such activity.

Main Duties

Key Objective:
To ensure that that we maximise the commercial opportunities and minimise commercial risks associated with our Germany & Wider Europe (GWE) account, whilst ensuring compliance with our obligations.
The role will be working to the Commercial Manager Addiitonal Services with key focus areas being the management of Additional Services pricing, negotiation and adherence to Contract Terms & Conditions. This offers the opportunity to work in both Germany and Italy pricing a significant number of low value M&E and B&CE small works projects as well as the potential to work on larger more complex projects should the client request such activity.

Additional Services
-Pricing of Works
-Production of Firm Price Offers
-Price Works Tasks using National Schedule Of Rates (UK)
-Post Measurement of completed works
-Assist Line Mangement to:
-Manage and improve adherence to the Contract;
-Create the necessary commercial reporting and represent the Commercial Team at applicable meetings as required by the Principal Commercial Manager.
-Manage end to end processing of:
-Pricing of Additional Services in accordance with the Contract
-Rasing Additional Services Final Invoices and Milestone Payment Applications as required.
-Audit Additional Services Supplier Invoices as required to ensure Value For Money is achieved.
-Ensure applivable Contracts are placed with Suppliers prior to work commencing as applicable.
-Ensure Early Warning Notices, Recompense Requests are raised and reported as per process
-Tender Management as applicable
-Quote Management as applicable
-Risk Management:
-Assist the end to end risk management process in relation to each Additional Service Works task including the creation of each Addiitonal Services Risk Register under your control;
-Liaise with as directed with Commerial and Operational leads to get the appropriate approvals.
General Commercial
-Ensure the correct documentation is in place with each supplier prior to placing Purchase Orders.
-Maintain adherence to the Core Contract
-Ensure that any Variation, Recompense Request or Early Warning Notice is raised in accordance with Contract
What we are looking for
-Qualified Quantity Surveyor
-Experience in producing Rough Order Of Costs using National Schedule Of Rates
-Commercial Experience in Construction or related field including Cost Development, Risk, Tender Preparation and Dispute Resolution.
-Strong understanding of contract management (especially construction/refurbishment processes) and FM contract models
-Highly numerate
-Strong report preparation and presentation skills
-Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work effectively with demanding clients and customer
-Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products especially Excel and Word
-Good negotiation skills
