It’s an exciting time to be joining UHCW Learning and Development Team, we are growing as a team and continuing to widen our core offer to effectively support our employees in always putting our patients first.

Working as part of the learning and development team you will support the Trust to ensure ongoing competence and safe practice by delivering specialists learning programmes both in the acute setting of the hospitals but also in the wider community and partnership organisations.

The role will require flexibility of working hours to ensure that we support all employees alongside their shift patterns.

To be successful in moving to the next stage of recruitment you must be able to clearly demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria for the role.

**This post offer 1x permanent and 2x fixed term 12 months contract**

To provide training to UHCW employees both in acute and community settings on a variety of subjects. To actively be involved with the organisation and facilitation of the Trust Induction Programmes, including supporting the design and delivery of learning sessions, as part of a team of L&D Officers.

• Act as the first point of contact for dealing with enquiries; provide guidance to learners with regards to training, best practice, and development opportunities, seeking advice and referring to subject matter experts where necessary
• Co-ordinate arrangements for the Trust Induction Programmes, including ensuring attendees are booked to attend relevant sessions, produce bespoke programmes
• Guides, liaise with trainers and other stakeholders, book resources and communicate with relevant departments across the Trust
• Deliver training to Trust employees, including Manual Handling (Clinical and Non-Clinical), Basic Life Support and Conflict Resolution, providing instruction and demonstration of the correct use of related equipment
• Deliver ‘train-the-trainer’ sessions for the Trust’s cascade trainer cohort, for both clinical and office-based employees, providing ongoing support and advice for this group as required.
