Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cancer Services Admin Team. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our small but very busy and dedicated Reception Team.

As an Outpatients & Chemotherapy Booker your main responsibilities will include booking outpatient appointments, booking chemotherapy treatments and dealing with queries.

The role can be complex and challenging but varied and requires excellent organisational and communication skills.

The post holder will be responsible in the delivery of an efficient and effective service within the Haematology & Oncology Outpatient Department and Day Unit (Chemotherapy) Reception . Liaising with patients and visitors to the Outpatient Department and Day Unit by using ARIA to book patients treatments and follow up outpatient appointments by using Careflow (PAS). Collate data via ARIA and Careflow maintaining the databases. To participate fully as a member of the team, liaising with members of the public and hospital staff in all areas and adopting a flexible approach. The post holder will also provide administrative assistance.
