Owen Payne Care Services are urgently seeking a knowledgable Kitchen Assistant to join a local healthcare facility!
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience of providing catering services (within the care sector is desirable)
• Be qualified in food hygiene (minimum level 2 certificate)
• Possess good communication skills
Key Duties:
To provide support services to the catering staff, which includes, but is not limited to:
• Washing up/dishwasher duties
• Clearing back of work areas
• Daily checking and recording of fridge/freezer temperatures.
• Cleaning/defrosting of fridges/freezers to a laid down schedule
• Checking and unpacking of food deliveries
Rate of Pay: £11.50 per hour
Work Pattern: 10 hours per week Tuesday / Weds / Thursday on rotation
