Summary

Permanent – Full Time – 40 hours per week

We are currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join our team within Lovell’s East Midlands working onsite in Derby, with travel to sites across the region.

Reporting to our Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing project cost control procedures, in particular, re-measurement of the works/variations, inventories of stocks and evaluation of the interim and final accounts. Applying yourself in a professional environment, you will liaise with clients and subcontractors, having the confidence to go out to projects and properties when required to do so. This position will involve working within a busy Quantity Surveying department on new build and refurbishment schemes.

Whilst a formal qualification is required, such as HNC in a relevant subject, we are open to hear from Assistant Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors with construction industry experience.

Customer focused, with strong decision making and communication skills, candidates will be able to prioritise work against tight deadlines and sometimes conflicting priorities.
