Summary


The Radiology Directorate within ABUHB are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join their Administrative and clerical team.

The successful candidate of this exciting post will be an integral member of the Radiology Booking Service. 2 posts available, 15 hours is based at Ystrad Mynach hospital (2 days) and 15 hours at Royal Gwent Hospital (2 days)

Working as part of a dedicated team of Inpatient booking staff, Radiologists, Radiographers and nurses, they will be responsible for the day-to-day admin operation and maintenance of outpatient appointments for Radiology across the Health Board. The post holder will ensure service users have a positive and professional experience at all times.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The duties of this new post includes,
• Ensuring all patients appointments are processed in accordance with the internal and national targets.
• Inpatient bookings, Radiology admin support and wait list management
• Working with Supt Songraphers and Team leader making sure that clinic capacity is utilised so cancellations are kept to a minimum
• All procedure appointments are booked in a timely fashion utilising list capacity across Radiology in ABUHB.
• Liaising with other team members to ensure that waiting times are kept to a minimum, working with the radiology referral and booking manager and booking service team
• Ensure a professional and friendly telephone manner is maintained
