Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Data Engineer to join our Data Platform and Engineering team. You’ll be a technical authority, providing technical expertise with key responsibility for line managing and leading the Retail Data Domain Team.

What you’ll be doing:
Lead, manage and mentor a small team of data engineers and produce a high performing team.
Develop data pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that efficiently collect, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Continuously monitor, analyse and optimize data pipelines to improve performance, reduce costs, and ensure reliability and scalability.
Ensure that data solutions comply with relevant data architecture, security and privacy regulations, and implement best practices.
Form successful relationships with internal stakeholder throughout your assigned domain, providing technical and business value.
Work with stakeholders to ensure the product is aligned to business goals and delivering business value.
Ensure continued relevancy of technical skills through demonstrable training and research.
