Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager-Activity
The hours: 37.5 per week

Flexibility will be required to ensure activities and holidays run effectively across 7 days provision attending events to promote our work as required.
Plus, on call as part of a rota system for the whole organisation

Chrysalis support adults with a strong focus on those with learning disabilities, to live their best lives. We work with the people we support to be active and independent and ensure we provide a wide range of enjoyable and developmental opportunities.
We are seeking to recruit an innovative activity development manager to drive forward our activity provision across 7 days a week and evenings.
Part of this role will be for you to have the ability to think outside the box and be creative to ensure that the people we support are having the best experiences and given great opportunities which may not be available to them currently.
You will identify and develop opportunities for people to have access to and be supported to education/ further learning through various enterprise schemes.
You will develop professional relationships with all stakeholders and also engage with networking on behalf of Chrysalis.
The provision of supported Holidays is also a key element of this role to ensure individuals have access to a range of supported opportunities to have a break, just like everyone else.
You will already have experience of provision of high-quality Support for individuals and experience of supportive and effective line management of teams. You will be self-motivated, able to work on your own and as part of a team and have reporting skills to demonstrate the achievement of key outcomes.
