Summary

Brook Street Social Care are currently working with an outstanding children's residential organisation which provides therapeutic support to children and young people in a children's residential service

Our client is looking for experienced staff to join their team to provide the best care to children who have been placed to live in the home by a local authority and provide a nurturing environment where the children can live happy, healthy and safe lives where they are safe from harm and able to develop and fulfil their potential.

You will be part of a team who will assess what care and support is needed for each individual young person. You will help draw up support plans and risk assessment plans as part of the young person's package of care. Along with the team, you will help deliver each plan that is agreed and drawn up with the input of each child.

You will have an NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or relevant qualification. You will be working in a home with up to three children placed there by a local authority who have an EBD / trauma background. You will have experience of multi-disciplinary teamwork and be ready to work with many different professionals who are involved with each placed young person. You will be familiar with keyworking and delivering interventions when and where necessary.
