To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for two Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to come and join our team at our Aldridge Site in Walsall, WS9 8TB.
The shift pattern for this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role is a 4 on 4 off day and nights, 12 hours shift patterns, option of overtime is there for those that would like to earn extra.
As such we are keen to speak with an experienced industrial Mechanical Maintenance Engineer seeking to join our forward-thinking company with large backing who wants to further their professional career.
Salary: £46,851 per annum, 12 hours shift patterns 4 on 4 off days and nights, plus overtime at a premium, plus pension contribution up to 10% and excellent benefits package

• The ability to work with a team of skilled engineers across maintenance and project engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Promote the highest Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Utilise a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to facilitate Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs
Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs to existing heavy machinery, potentially installing new plant, designing and fabricating parts/structures,
Ensure rigorous application of continuous improvement tools and techniques across all areas of the manufacturing facility to optimise performance.
Work collaboratively across all support functions, by building effective working relationships, to optimise factory performance.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship to level 3 city and Guilds, NVQ etc
Pneumatics, hydraulics, Conveyors, Gearboxes and industrial mechanical skills
Welding skills would be an advantage
High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems.
Time Served, Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical), Engineering Manufacture (Mechanical), Mechatronics (Mechanical) or equivalent
Maintenance experience and fault diagnosis of Pneumatics and Hydraulics systems
Knowledge of Welding / Basic Fabrication
Computer literate in MS Word and Excel
Knowledge of basic continuous improvement tools and techniques
Good knowledge of current Health and Safety Law and best practice application within a manufacturing environment
