Summary

Rhenus Warehousing Solutions Lutterworth is currently looking for a HR Business Partner on a fixed-term contract for 12 months to support the HR team. In this role, you will work in partnership with key stakeholders across all sites to support the management of staff, people development, and the implementation and monitoring of HR policies and practices. This role will be suitable for someone with a strong ER background.
The role will be based at Nuneaton; however, travel will be required to our other sites at Lutterworth.
The role will report to the HR Director. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00, 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility will be required to ensure that business needs are met. Area of Responsibilities:

Responsible for ER cases across all sites and issuing relevant ER letters for employees, such as resignations, step-ups, flexible working, and references.
Providing HR support, guidance, and advice to colleagues and operational managers.
Conduct and oversee the day-to-day operations in line with HR company policies.
Coaching operational managers in holding meetings with colleagues, e.g., disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, etc.
Advise senior leadership on the strategies to protect and drive business results.
Support and manage TUPE as required by the business.
Ensuring that GDPR regulations are being complied with and dealing with any data access requests as necessary.
Oversee all on-site agency recruitment, with the support of a HR Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator.
Act as the escalation point for any queries from the agency and the operations team.
Support the full end-to-end recruitment cycle across all functions.
Support HR and Payroll Officer with the monthly payroll process if needed.
Identify training needs within the different functions and support the HR Director with the delivery of training.
Deliver the company’s standards for HR inductions, learning, and development to set colleagues up for success in their functional roles.
Working with colleagues to help them achieve promotion through an internal development programme.
With the support of the HR team, oversee all fundraising, team-building, and employee engagement activities on site, including seasonal activities.
Oversee charity and event meetings, completing any relevant actions.
Liaise with external providers where applicable, for example: gym membership or the Employee Assistance Programme.
Support with ad-hoc HR projects when required, with the direction of the HR Director
European HR projects, as and when required.
Manage bonus incentives through the implementation of trackers.
Oversee the workload within the HR team and distribute as appropriate.
Complete regular 1-2-1 meetings with team members.
Support the team to ensure that the workload for the HR function is concluded.


Essential Skills and Experience:

CIPD- Level 5 or 7
Full driving licence
Strategic thinking
IT skills, including advanced Microsoft, Excel, and PowerPoint
The ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Self-motivated and positive attitude and drive to deal with any problems and queries.
Ability to work on their own or in a team with a range of incoming inquiries.
The ability to prioritise the tasks at hand is key to the success of this role.
Excellent organisation and communication skills.
