Sanctuary Personnel is excited to present an enticing opportunity in Norwich for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to join an esteemed healthcare facility. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the established Theatre teams to deliver safe and top-quality care to all patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the perioperative team in delivering exemplary care within the operating suite, including performing scrub duties for cases within your competence.
• Provide support in maintaining a safe, high-quality environment for surgical procedures, performing scrub practitioner roles in minor to intermediate surgeries.
• Undertake circulatory duties for all aspects of surgery and ensure supervision by a registered practitioner until completion of each case.
• Offer skilled assistance to surgeons within the sterile field, handling instrumentation, maintaining sterility, and completing necessary risk assurance processes.

Requirements:

• Understanding of the ATP role within the team and organisation, and its contribution to service development.
• Previous experience in an acute healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in literacy and basic awareness of health, safety, and hygiene.
• Flexibility to work within shift patterns (07:30 am - 18:00 pm/12:30 pm - 21:00 pm).
• Relevant ATP qualification.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Dedication to continuous learning and development.
• Strong interpersonal skills and awareness of infection control.
