Summary

We are seeking to appoint a skilled confident and motivated analyst to join the trust's busy Information & Insight Team.

Sherwood Forest Hospitals are embarking on a major programme of transformation with the implementation of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR), and this has created an exciting opportunity to work as a Business Insight Analyst within the Business Insight Team. The aim of the role is to promote and support the effective use of information to inform the delivery of high-quality patient care in an organisation.

The post holder will be responsible for providing in depth, specialist information, reports and recommendations to support the decision making processes. They will play a key role in the long term strategic planning and business management of the Trust through, for example, the development of demand and capacity models, market and benchmarking analyses and analytical support to large scale improvement projects.

The post holder will show initiative and self-motivation and will have excellent interpersonal skills, given the need to pro-actively support senior managers and clinicians through their analytical skills and knowledge of NHS information, performance and planning frameworks.

Thank you for your interest in this role.
