Summary


Applications are invited for the role of Clinical Fellow (Core) in ENT working at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH).

This post is available to commence on 07th August 2024 for 12 months.

The post holder will participate in a full shift rota providing daytime and out-of-hours cover. You will participate in the daytime commitments of their allocated team including theatre lists, clinics (emergency, elective and specialist multidisciplinary), and ward cover. Within the ENT department, you will be able to take part in audit, research and other educational activities while improving clinical knowledge all relevant to further core or higher surgical training. You will be allocated a supervisor to ensure you get the best out of your appointment. This post will allow the successful candidate to acquire many of the essential and desirable criteria for national specialty selection.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.

This post may be suitable for those wishing to undertake an “F3” role or currently working as a core or specialist trainee and looking for additional experience.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
