Hours: 38.5 - Mon - Thurs 8a, - 5pm / Fri - 8.30am - 4pm
Salary: £30,000
Restore are recruiting for Material Resource Planners to work within our Tech business unit. This role provides the direct interface between the Production and Sales/Service Delivery teams.
The main purpose of the role is to support the smooth execution of the production plan through systematic development of short-term production schedules and controlled inventory movements. This role requires an organised individual with high levels of attention to detail and process & system accuracy and adherence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Production planning – develop, monitor & adjust production schedules based on customer demand, resource availability and capacity constraints.
Priority management & customer liaison – interface with Sales and Service Delivery teams to convey priorities to Production and feedback progress updates.
Inventory control – perform timely and accurate inventory movements within the ERP system.
Inventory accuracy – conduct perpetual inventory counts to improve inventory accuracy.
ERP compliance – as an ambassador for process and system compliance, work with the Planning and Control function to ensure adherence to best practice.
Continuous improvement – identify opportunities for process improvements to optimise production efficiency.
Reporting and analysis - through short interval control techniques, maintain adherence to plan or reschedule accordingly.
ABOUT YOU
Experience in a similar role within a production / manufacturing environment.
Experience of using MRP/ERP systems.
Experience of working within an ISO quality management system or equivalent.
Comfortable working with numerical data and analysis.
A ‘can-do’ & pro-active attitude to problem solving.
