Summary
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to students with special educational needs, particularly in a secondary school environment.
- Crafting and implementing tailored support plans to cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Engaging in effective collaboration with educators, parents, and professionals to ensure student's needs are met.
- Delivering training and guidance to staff on effective strategies for supporting students with SEN.
- Coordinating with external agencies and professionals to secure necessary support for students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a secondary school setting.
- Familiarity with various SEN conditions and related support strategies.
- Proficiency in managing challenging behaviours and adapting approaches to suit individual student needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholders.
