Summary
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a behaviour mentor to join a team at an alternative provision in Bolton on a full time basis to support students with SEMH needs. The role will start as soon as possible and will be on a full time basis.
Prospero Teaching are looking for a behaviour mentor to support students on a 121 or in a small group basis. The students at the provision have SEMH needs and require a constant support to provide academic support as well as guidance in life choices. The students are aged 11 - 16 and the school are keen to develop the students to allow them to return to mainstream education when possible. Duties may require 1-1 support, as well as taking out intervention groups. You will also be required to hold a full driving licence.

- Minimum rate of pay - £95 per day
- Previous experience working with SEMH students or challenging behaviour.
- A passion for working with students with SEND.
- Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.
- You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
- Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last 12 months
- Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years
- Up to date FGM training
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child & adult DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide a minimum of two professional child related references
