Summary

Business Support Officer - Regulatory Services (Gr D/E)

Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Support Officer to join our Regulatory Services team. As a Business Support Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the efficient operation of our regulatory service department and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This position is classified as Grade D/E.

Responsibilities
Assist with the coordination and implementation of regulatory compliance activities
Prepare and maintain complex databases, records, and reports to track compliance activities
Provide administrative support to the regulatory team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
Conduct research and analysis to support the development and implementation of regulatory policies and procedures
Monitor and review regulatory documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and address regulatory compliance queries
Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and submissions to regulatory bodies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
Proven experience in a business support role or regulatory environment
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and requirements
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information Additionally:
Experience working in a regulated industry, such as financial services or healthcare, is preferred
Familiarity with regulatory compliance software or systems is a plus
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Per Hour: £14.39
