Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced CSW - Senior Social Worker / Specialist Social Worker - First Contact (Gr 8) to join our team. As a CSW - Senior Social Worker / Specialist Social Worker - First Contact, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families experiencing social and emotional challenges.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive assessments, individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, and case management services. You will collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, advocate for clients' needs, and connect them with appropriate community resources. Additionally, you will ensure that all documentation and reporting requirements are met, and participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in the field.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with diverse populations and a strong understanding of trauma-informed care. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting. A high degree of empathy and cultural competence is essential for this role.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' strengths, needs, and goals
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their support systems
Provide individual, family, and group therapy to address a range of social and emotional challenges
Offer crisis intervention services and develop safety and support plans as needed
Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to facilitate access to resources and services
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in accordance with agency policies and procedures
Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and supervision sessions to discuss client progress and develop appropriate interventions
Provide consultation and support to other team members, including paraprofessionals and interns
Requirements
Master's degree in social work or a related field
Current licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW) in [state/province]
Minimum of [X] years of experience in the field of social work, with demonstrated expertise in [area of specialization]
Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with complex trauma histories
Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatment modalities
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
